The goal wasn't simply more inquiries—it was reaching niche segments with distinct needs, including military-affiliated students and Hispanic communities, through campaigns built specifically for them.

The Approach
NMSU had been relying on broad brand advertising and generic keywords. Pivot rebuilt the program around purpose-driven, program-specific campaigns and a data-driven, full-funnel approach that stretched the same budget further.
Three moves stood out. Supplemental enrollment outreach activities correlated immediately with application activity—NMSU recorded its highest single day of submissions ever on the day they ran. Landing page and mobile optimizations drove a surge in completed applications, producing the strongest January in the university's history. And retargeting focused on high-intent prospects, guiding them through to application.
Emerging tactics played a role too, including LinkedIn Conversation Ads to reach audiences other channels missed.
