What does a day at Pivot Marketing really look like? Our Senior Account Manager, Cassie, recently took over our socials to take us through a full day in the Pivot world: meetings, brainstorms, dashboards, and even an afternoon walk by Lake Champlain. Inspired by that peek behind the curtain, here’s a closer look at what life at Pivot feels like.
Morning: Coffee, Kids, and a Walk with the Pup!

Cassie’s day begins with the essentials: a strong cup of coffee, a morning walk with her dog, and getting her kids off to the school bus. It’s a mix of routines that ground her before the day picks up speed. At Pivot, we call this integration, fitting meaningful personal moments into the rhythm of work.
Arriving at the Burlington Office
After taking a moment to take in the gorgeous lake front views from our deck, Cassie is ready to connect. Some mornings start with client calls to align on goals and KPIs, while others begin with a quick huddle with teammates. As a Senior Account Manager, Cassie handles the moving parts of projects, ensuring we are on track to deliver what our clients need.
Either way, mornings are about setting the tone with clarity, curiosity, and a sense of approachability that helps clients and colleagues feel supported.
Midday: Creative Meets Strategy

Late mornings often move quickly. Reviewing ad copy for a healthcare program, updating a Pivot360 dashboard for a university client, or brainstorming a fresh student story series. One minute it’s diving deep into analytics, the next it’s drafting creative assets in Canva. That balance of left-brain and right-brain thinking is Pivot at its best: real strategy backed by creativity that connects.
Afternoon: Walks and Wins

Afternoons bring collaboration and a little levity. Cassie often steps outside with Becca for a quick walk, a chance to reset, laugh, and spark new ideas. Back inside, she might jump from a strategy call into a troubleshooting session, then pause for a quick afternoon snack before powering through the rest of her to-do list. These small moments of joy make the fast-moving pace sustainable.
Wrapping Up with Purpose
As the day winds down, Cassie clears out emails, closes tasks, and sets up tomorrow’s priorities. The work is important, and so is the way we do it, warmly, collaboratively, and with real care for our clients and each other.
Why We Share This
Cassie’s day gives a glimpse into what makes Pivot, Pivot. It’s not just the client calls or creative brainstorms, it’s the coffee that starts the morning, the quick walk with a teammate, and the laughter that finds its way into busy afternoons. These everyday rhythms show how our values come to life: realness in how we show up, integration in how we balance life and work, approachability in every conversation, curiosity in problem-solving, and joy in the details.
This is the heartbeat of agency life at Pivot: meaningful work, shared with people who genuinely care.
